The University Institute of Engineering and Technology is the brainchild of its founder Prof. S.S. Katiyar, the former Vice Chancellor of CSJM University, Kanpur. It is set amidst the university campus that has an of about 265 acres.
Shiva Temple is situated 500m inside the campus of CSJM university (South-West from the main). Temple although a Lord Shiva temple is open to people from all castes, religions and religious beliefs.
